Vicktoria: I'll let you know when I get the letter. I'm not even that excited anymore, since I've heard so many stories about how hard it is to get selected. If you can make it to the CHP academy, I think you're guaranteed a job, but not for SFPD. So I don't even know what to expect anymore. Even if you make it and graduate from SFPD academy, you'll probably have to wait another 1 to 3 years before they call you back. EMT sounds cool, but I don't think I have the stomach to deal with that kind of stuff 24/7. Good Luck with it.
